go back... Baxter
Shar Pei / Male / Born April 1999 / 40 lbs
Baxter’s mom had to give him up on orders from her family. He bit them once too often and it came down to him or them. After we took him in, we noticed that his one back leg is an inch shorter than his other, probably the result of an injury suffered when he was a puppy.  Thinking that he may be in pain (which could be a contributing factor in his “problem” personality), we’re giving him anti-inflammatory medicine and monthly arthritis shots. It has changed him into a new wonderful, fun dog and we think he is ready to be adopted now.
