Satchel's Last Resort

Trippett is a sweet 9-year-old lady who has just lost everything she’s loved since puppyhood. The economy broke up the family, leaving mom with two young children and Trippett. Mom was overwhelmed and the family pet paid the price. Trippet is a wonderful dog; she’s playful, has lived with children, walks great on a leash, and can actually entertain herself for short periods of time. Trippett is at that stage in life where she’s content just being a part of your life.

She will be a great companion dog for almost anyone. She’ll go for a nice walk with you in the morning; calmly hang out with you all day – or await your return from work; take you for an evening stroll and sleep by your side at night. Trippett doesn’t look or act like she’s nine years old.

We were told she had incontinence problems when we took her in, but we haven’t seen it here. Maybe we get her out more often, or maybe she was reacting to the stress in her previous household. Incontinence is easily treated, but for us, there has been no need.
