Poor Skye. A couple bought her as a puppy from someone who told them that the hairless patches on her skin where just dry spots. Soon, she started losing all of her hair and her skin became scaly and bloody, and she was miserable. She had demodex mange, which is easily treated – but you have to know what it is. When we took her in, her eyes were swollen shut and she could hardly walk.
Now, she’s a beautiful dog as you can see in the photos (compare to the third one down) who’s healthy and ready to be part of a family. She very sweet, loves to play, gets along with other dogs and is housebroken.
