Elsa is a beautiful, young Boxer mix who would like a real home. She was found abandoned in the woods by two young women who cared for her until she came to live at Satchel's Last Resort.
She is a little over a year old and she is very active dog who would do well in an active family. She would not adjust having to live in a backyard because she loves people.
Elsa sits on command and comes running when you call her. She wanders on the leash but is not a puller. She rides well in the car. She likes to pick things up in her mouth sometimes but is usually very gentle and is learning to respond very well to "no" and "drop it." She does not jump up on people when they are standing but likes to climb in laps. She is crate trained and seems well house trained, she will get agitated before she has to go out and do her business. A while back she went through an agility course and she loved it.
She is extremely affectionate and loves nothing more than to cuddle with her head in your lap. She likes lots of attention. To tell you the truth, she likes it so much she has separation anxiety. Therefore, Elsa needs to find a home where she is never left alone or a home that has the time and will to work through it.
She loves to play with other dogs and loves to run. She is unsure about cats.
