Dixie is a very happy dog. She loves to lick faces, hands, legs, and anyone close to her will feel her tongue reach out and soak them in slobber. She loves to run with her owner a few miles every now and then. She has a really great demeanor with people and children, young and old. She loves toys and treats and can do a few tricks: sit, lay, roll over, and even catch treats in the air.
But, sadly she cannot live in a home with any other animals, dogs specifically. She doesn't get along well with other dogs for very long if any time at all. She was rescued from a farm with her sister Toby, a Jack Russel, when she was barely a year old. She's always been very well behaved and listens/responds to training very well. As she's aged though, her aggression towards other dogs, even her sister, has grown. We love her very much and she loves us, even her sister Toby, but sometimes she just changes and cannot be around other dogs.
She has never bitten, attacked, or been aggressive in any way to a person or child at any time in her life. Please take a chance and love our Dixie for us, you won't regret it. She's got a lot of love left in her and we don't want that to end anytime soon.
