Satchel's Last Resort

Delilah is a fabulous dog – she loves everything and everyone, and she does it with every ounce of energy in her body! We all are crazy about her. She came to us heartworm positive and spent two long months in a crate in foster care going through the treatment. She is now totally healthy and ready to rock some family’s world.

She loves to run, play ball and dive into our baby pool – then do it in reverse order – and then curl up in your lap.

She needs an active family who will include her in their activities. Given her energy level, she would be happiest with older children.

Delilah did great when tested with cats. Seems like she has never been around them; she was interested, curious – but not aggressive at all. The cats loved her; they were rubbing themselves all over her! She’ll probably give chase, if a cat runs from her – that’s just the way she plays, but with a proper introduction, she and a cat sibling should be fine.

UPDATE: Brought Delilah to a pet event today and she absolutely rocked! Kissed all dogs and if they didn't want to kiss or growled she backed off. Was great with all the humans as well and she was very well behaved.
